Yacht-to-Jet Mediterranean Connection

The owner of a 65-meter superyacht cruising the Mediterranean wanted to rotate guests on and off the vessel throughout an 8-week summer season. 12 different guest groups needed to be flown in from London, Geneva, Moscow, New York, and Dubai to whichever port the yacht was docked — Monaco, Sardinia, Mykonos, Dubrovnik, or Ibiza. Each transfer needed to be within 30 minutes of docking.

VOLO integrated with the yacht's itinerary management system to track real-time position and port ETA. For each guest rotation, we pre-positioned aircraft at the nearest airport (Nice for Monaco, Olbia for Sardinia, etc.) and arranged helicopter or luxury car transfers to the marina. Our concierge coordinated luggage handling directly between aircraft and yacht crew, so guests walked from jet to tender without touching a bag.

All 12 guest rotations executed flawlessly across 5 Mediterranean ports. Average transfer time from aircraft door to yacht tender was 22 minutes. The yacht owner described it as the smoothest season in 10 years of chartering. VOLO now manages year-round aviation for the owner's yacht seasons in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
