Private Conservancies
Rhino, conservation and a safari with purpose.
Kenya's pioneering conservancies protect rhino and wildlife on private land — with exclusive lodges, horseback and walking safaris, and behind-the-scenes time with conservation teams. FCT arranges the access that ordinary itineraries can't.
Conservation you can be part of
Laikipia and Lewa pioneered community-and-wildlife conservancies and now safeguard a large share of Kenya's black rhino and the endangered Grévy's zebra. Guests can join rhino tracking, anti-poaching patrols and behind-the-scenes time with the conservation teams.
More than game drives
On private land the rules relax: horseback safaris, guided walks, mountain biking, camel treks and night drives are all possible, and many lodges can be taken on an exclusive-use basis — ideal for families and groups.
Excellent year-round thanks to permanent water and resident wildlife; June–October and January–March are driest and best for game viewing, while the green season is lush and quiet. Rhino sightings are reliable in every season.
